I've always been a sucker for before and after shots. Whether it is a weight loss story or a home rennovation, they can be inspiring. However, with one-year olds it seems to work in reverse:
I've got old ones too and you are correct. Only a few short years to dress them and do their hair your way. Then you are left with little say about anything.
Not to brag- but I think Gabby looks like her Aunt Christine more than Liza Meneli. (I don't know how to spell Meneli- could you edit that for me Debbie?)
Love that caption. Very good. We did have to keep our laughter mostly to ourselves since it is nearly impossible to assure a one-year old that you are laughing with her not at her.
Christine, I know you think I can fix everything. That is what big sisters do. But your typos are forever etched in your comment. Even I can not change them.
Oh, Lil Gabby! What a beautiful before and after picture. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThey're both fantastic! I miss those days. It just doesn't work the same with my oldest son (17) and daughter.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteJoanne? Christine? Kim? Thanks for the compliments. Her high pig tails were especially cute yesterday morning.
Craver,

The caption on this could have read:
ReplyDelete"Before and Laughter"
That one made me giggle.
Cute!
Oh Deb,
ReplyDeleteShe is one cute munchkin! I only have daughters, so I have a very soft spot for little girls, I just love them....

ReplyDeleteHAAAAAAA!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see why she rules the house!
Cheers

Phase Out -
ReplyDeleteDaughters are great until they turn 12.

Hlena,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some laughter with us.
David,
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. Wouldn't you do anything that little face asked?
Marvelous. I wish I'd thought of that when my kids were little. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteCatmoves,
ReplyDeleteIt actually was not premeditated. I was downloading the pictures for the day and there was Gabby in two strikingly different pictures.
Though before the prolific picture taking with digital cameras, I probably do not have such a coincidence with the other kids.
Ohhhhh.............she's so cute! Before and After.
