Apparently, the word has gotten around that DH can not be trusted at the local Bob's Big Boy. Yes, we are all a bit embarassed. As if he didn't learn his lesson 20 some years ago. And now I promise this is the last time I will mention it. Sorry, honey, just had to get in one last comment. The book is closed. Done. Finito.

Your office following here in NE is laughing this very moment. "Hey, did you read the latest Blog"? This is great stuff. Joanne
ReplyDeleteIs this for real??
ReplyDeleteJoanne,
ReplyDeleteHappy to give you all a dose of TGIF laughter.
Debbie
Christine,
ReplyDeleteOf course it is real. Have I ever led anyone (especially a younger more gullible sister) astray on this blog?
Don't you recognize the Radio Shack on State Street?
Debbie
Deborah...You kinda promised that this "DH Lapse of Judgement" story wouldnt spread beyond ... *sigh* I have SO lost a favorite yarn!
ReplyDelete-RKCD
Hahahaha....ahahahahah!
ReplyDeleteRKCD -
ReplyDeleteI promised? I don't think so. I would have known I would be incapable of keeping any such commitments.
Eve,
ReplyDeleteYou are a genius - thanks!
DH, mate,
ReplyDeleteWe have a very short, very apt saying here in Australia, that sums up your current predicament.
``You've been well and truly stitched up, mate.''
Good on you, DH - and good on you, Debbie!
Cheers
David
David,
ReplyDeleteI am guessing being stiched up has nothing to do with being in stitches? Because DH is not laughing about this post. Not yet anyway.
You need to write a book about the sayings from Australia. With a picture and little story/ explanation for each one. Something to consider in your free time!
Debbie
Roaring. You had to be in collusion with the manager of the donut shop. But it was worth it.
ReplyDeletethere are many books on sayings in Australia... you can start with this one.
ReplyDeleteBut I think you're right - only David would put the right pic to it.
:)
Catmoves,
ReplyDeleteI must confess my conspirings had more to do with Internet sign generator programs than resturant managers.
Ozlady-
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list! I'll use to to translate David's blog from now on.
